Walking in Destiny Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Founded by Charlotte resident, SHERYL MITCHELL-WILSON, Walking in Destiny Outreach provides care packages to the local unhoused community. Our organization’s goal is to simply make life a little easier and a lot brighter for those who need it most.

A little about our founder:

I’m a Queen’s University of Charlotte graduate with a (BA) degree in Human Services. I have volunteered at several nonprofit organizations in our community, serving individuals that are less fortunate. After working for years in the corporate world, I retired here in Charlotte. Inspired by my faith and love for God, I became the Founder of Walking in Destiny Outreach. My husband and I started this community service from a strong desire to do what we can with what we have to make a difference. Our goal is to provide basic needs for vulnerable individuals and communities, giving them hope for a brighter future.
