The Charlotte-Mecklenburg community has reported over 3,100 unhoused people as of Sept. 2022. In just one month, 663 individuals entered houselessness; of those people, 75% experienced houselessness for the first time. These numbers are staggering, yet we can all do our part to help.

Since 2020, Walking in Destiny Outreach has donated over 300 bags to the unhoused in our local community. We want every person we bless with a care package to know that we see them, we respect them and that they have dignity. Inside every care bag is a meal, small toiletries and a small amount of cash.
